Get cash or make other transactions at automated teller machines.
Get cash advances at financial institutions around the world.

How do I pay for purchases with a Check/Cash Card?
Using a Check/Cash Card is like writing a check, only it's more convenient and more widely accepted. Check/Cash is a safe alternative to carrying cash or checks.

Simply present the card to any merchant who accepts Visa. After you sign for the purchase, save your receipt and record it in your checkbook. Your purchase will be paid out of your checking account, as if you had written a check.

Your monthly statement will show the merchant's name and location, the purchase amount, and the date.

How can I use a Check/Cash Card at automated teller machines (ATMs)?
Use a Check/Cash Card and your secret Personal Identification Number (PIN) to withdraw cash 24 hours a day at any ATM bearing The Exchange, ACCEL, Cirrus, Visa, or CU Access logos.

Some ATMs also provide other services. They let you:

Make deposits to your accounts.
Transfer funds between accounts (same account number only).
Make balance inquiries.

Receipts are given for all your ATM transactions. Your monthly statement lists each transaction's location, date, and amount.

How can I use Check/Cash when I need emergency cash?
If you need more cash than the usual $200 most ATMs allow, you can use your card to get cash advances up to your available balance at hundreds of thousands of locations worldwide.

What happens if I don't have enough money in my checking account to cover my purchases?
Check/Cash cardholders can apply for Overdraft Protection. This service allows you to write checks, obtain cash, or make Visa purchases up to your checking account balance plus your available line of credit. Using Overdraft Protection is like taking out a low interest loan (without paying any fees).

How much does the Check/Cash cost?
There's no start-up fee. No annual or monthly fee. No cash-advance fee. An ATM fee at most ACCEL, Exchange, Visa, or American Express machines is $.75 per withdrawal. Some ATM owners may charge you an additional fee to use their ATM.

What about "point-of-sale" purchases?
You also can use your versatile Check/Cash Card for purchases at many gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores that accept ACCEL ATM cards. It's quick and convenient! Simply use your card and secret Personal Identification Number. Check/Cash works like a check and an ATM card. And it gives you Visa's worldwide buying power!
