Member Education Current Programs: Newsletter Articles Quarterly newsletter articles contain valuable education for members related to the credit union difference and philosophy as well as individual topics of interest, including: Planning your retirement, What to Look For in a Used Car, Insuring your Home, etc. Consumer Credit Counseling Our alliance with CCCS allows us to provide viable credit counseling, budgeting and credit education services for our members. Member Resources Our lobby is filled with information on a variety of topics including investments, mortgage loans, auto buying and financial planning with Internet access to our web site. Consumer Education Seminars FPFCU holds special seminars on timely topics such as Estate Planning, How to Create a good Credit Profile, Checking Accounts Made Easy, etc. Employee Orientations FPFCU has implemented a comprehensive employee training program that emphasizes the credit union difference. SEG Orientations Each orientation to a new or existing SEG provides FPFCU an opportunity to educate large groups of members and potential members about the credit union difference, philosophy and values. Web Site FPFCU's web site contains valuable consumer information such as our current programs and services, on-line banking, Kids Magazine and more. Training and Education Staff are encouraged to take advantage of training and educational opportunities made available through the Association and various other industry affiliations. The STAR program has been implemented in all departments. |
